Heat Pump Cleaning Service

Why should I get my Heat Pump cleaned or serviced?

Heat Pumps lose efficiency
The Coils become blocked.
You pay extra on power consumption.
You could be breathing unhealthy air.
Your Warranty may insist on it.

What do we do?

Inside Unit.

Check the operating temperature and airflow efficiency.
Remove fine dust from behind filter screen and clean the screen.
Remove oils and stain from filter screen and inside radiator.
Sanitise inside radiator (to kill yeast, molds and bacteria).
Internal drain is flushed (to prevent bad smelling air).
Apply cleaning solution to fins and coil.
Reverse flush fins and coil and steam clean (to clean, quieten and improve air flow).
Test and check noise levels.
Retest airflow and temperature.
Remote batteries are checked and replaced if needed.
Electrical Diagnostic test.

Outside Unit.

Clear foliage from around outside unit.
Check for any refrigerant leaks.
Test refrigerant levels and pressure test.
Electrical connections checked.
Clean intake screens.
Apply cleaning solution to fins and coil.
Remove covers and steam clean coil
Clean and check fan blades.
Test and check noise levels.

How often should this be done.

Manufacturer and suppliers recommend annually; for some clients the warranty will state yearly; and for some businesses it is a condition of their buildings warrant of fitness.

But I don't use my unit a lot and it seems okay to me?

We check them for free. If the coil is not blocked we don't clean or service it.

What if you find a problem?

John is qualified in refrigeration and most repairs are done as part of the service at no extra charge. Failing this, repairs can be covered by your warranty and if not John has access to all parts for most major brands and will organise this at a very competitive price.
